A 3 Story Breckenridge Brewery in LoHi Rumor

I heard an interesting bit of news today… or I should say a rumor of some news since I can’t find any news online about it.

The rumored news is that Amato of Denver site located just across the I-25 pedestrian bridge at the base of LoHi has some big plans in store for it. You know the spot if you live in LoHi or Riverfront. It’s just down from the already popular sites of Lola, Vita, and around from LoHi Steak Bar. Here is the rumor…

The site which is currently the home to Amato of Denver sculptures and fountains is going to be the new location of a new expansive 3 story Breckenridge Brewery. We are talking a full scale brewery and restaurant with an adjoining house acting as an extension for private parties. The construction would be starting this August with the goal of an opening in Spring of 2011. And if this is true I think it will be an absolute hit with the local crowds and seems to be an indication of a growing population and the investment in the area for more restaurants and entertainment spots.

If anyone has any more details for thoughts feel free to share. This is the first scoop I’ve heard.
