Denver Post sings the praises of high rise living

Interesting article about the love for high rise living appeared in the Denver Post this morning. Discussing new projects and the aspects of why people want to live downtown, this article certainly does some great free marketing for the downtown sector. But with the way the downtown is growing and new restaurants and shops keep popping up don’t be surprised to hear more positive testimonials about urban life.

Hello,
I am the artist who was chosen to create a sculpture for the Higland Pedestrian Bridge. The title of the work is “Red Dervish”. It is a 15′ high grouping of curvaliniear shapes made of nylon filled sandbags coated in polyester resin. It is a very contemporary work designed to reflect the progressive nature of the highlands neighborhood.
This project has a small budget, and all the funds have been used in the constuction of the piece. I’m trying to raise extra funds to light the sculpture. If this is of interest to you or your readers, please contact me.
